“The Brain is wider than the Sky
For put them side by side
The one the other will contain
With ease and you beside ”
—Emily Dickinson, 1862
As a clinical neuropsychologist, I assist people in understanding their mind, especially in relation to neurodiversity, acquired brain disease, and other brain-related changes.
Regarding my qualifications, I obtained a masters in neuropsychology (UCT) from a program designed by esteemed South African neuroscientist Professor Mark Solms, and completed my internship at Groote Schuur Hospital and Red Cross Hospital, under the supervision of esteemed professor Mark Solms. Additionally, as I believe in lifelong education, I am a member of the South African Psychoanalytic Initiative, and have been undergoing training in psychotherapy since 2024.
I diagnose and screen for brain-related psychological syndromes (dementias, attention syndromes, changes due to traumatic brain injury, Long COVID, etc). I also have an interest in the diagnosis of functional neurological disorders and their differentiation from organic brain disease. Further, I have a special interest in Long COVID, the subject of my dissertation.
I provide neuropsychologically informed therapeutic services to clients who wish to understand their mind, and am especially suited to assist those who may have neurodiverse conditions, or other neuropsychological syndromes.
I provide specialist advice and guidance for clients seeking to understand their or their loved ones’ neuropsychological diagnoses.
If you or your loved ones’ are seeking to understand their mind, I would be honoured to provide my services. For more detail, please book an initial consultation and we can discuss how I may be able to assist you, or navigate to the services page.
